Compensation Survey

The NBAA Compensation Survey is an indispensable business tool for NBAA member flight departments. Conducted annually, the industry survey provides a comprehensive review of aviation department personnel salaries and benefits to help member companies better evaluate their own flight departments.

The survey, administered and audited by BDO USA, P.C., provides participants with a comprehensive picture of aviation department makeup, key benefits, policies and compensation packages for their employees. This includes:

• Annual cash compensation, including base salary, overtime and annual incentives)
• Salary ranges
• Merit increases
• Long-term incentives – eligibility and type
• Formally recorded duty/flight hours and weekend/RON days

Only NBAA Business or Operating members are eligible to take the survey. Complimentary access to survey results is provided to the NBAA member representatives, and those designated by the member representatives, at participating companies.

Companies who do not participate in the survey must pay $1,000 to access survey results.

NBAA Individual Professional members are not eligible to take part in the NBAA Compensation Survey or purchase access to the survey results.
